Top Down Games on iOS in Europe: Q3 2025 Performance

In the third quarter of 2025, the top down games category on the iOS platform in Europe showcased intriguing trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Clash Royale from Supercell demonstrated a robust performance with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $5.5M in early September. The game also saw consistent growth in downloads, reaching nearly 553K in the same period. Active users increased steadily, culminating at over 18.7M by the end of the quarter.

Block Blast！ experienced a notable decline in downloads from 576K in early July to around 297K by the end of September. However, active user numbers remained relatively stable, ending the quarter slightly above 12M.

Kingshot saw its revenue rise from $1.3M at the beginning of July to over $2M in late September. Downloads showed a decreasing trend, falling from 258K to 178K over the quarter, while active users fluctuated, closing at around 722K.

Vita Mahjong maintained a modest revenue stream, peaking at $7.9K in late July. Downloads decreased from 239K in mid-July to 154K at the end of September. Active users, however, increased steadily, reaching approximately 1.4M.

Finally, Magic Tiles 3: Piano Game displayed a steady revenue pattern, with earnings around $27K throughout the quarter. Downloads trended downward from 228K to 141K, and active users decreased from 1.6M to 1M by the end of September.
